Makers! It's time to share... what have you been hacking on or making?

Reply to this email with a brief run-down of whatever projects have
been keeping you busy, either at the space or elsewhere.

reMMinderbot thanks you!

1) Ordered a precision 1/8" collet so that I can finally cut out my
airfoil templates on the CNC router:

2) Am building a 48" hotwire bow, since I found that the one that came
with the Feathercut isn't large enough to cut some of the wing panels I
need.

Got my X ray film and have started cutting it down to shoot 5x7 negatives in my B&J camera. I need to buy or make some film holders for developing though. Tray processing is scratching the negatives.

If we have a small water pump that can handle photo chemicals I have plans for a developing tray that works like a very slim hanging file style file drawer.  Just need some acrylic or polycarb and some acetone.

MattW, Vishal, and I went to The Hack Factory for Minne-Faire. It was pretty cool.... great space, and great event! Joshua of BrownDogGadgets was there with a table that was always busy. We really didn't have a Power Wheels race due to lack of other cars and a bad charger for the Barbie Mobile. Still, we had a good time...

I built a bicycle generator from an old exercise bike and a Geo Metro radiator fan.

I finished wiring and programming the Cylon feature for the Crazy board.  It may need a little more cable management.

Whats the back story on the ‘crazy board’?

I see its Arduino based?  What IC did you end up using for the led ‘array’…?

The back story is that this is what happens when I was distracted by some blinking lights while working on a R/C radio that I bought while I was working on an Arduino based Temperature/ LCD readout that I started because I ordered some extra stuff to justify the shipping when ordering a RTC from Sparkfun to keep accurate time for a scheduler I was making for the Mars landing, but was sidetracked by some VU meters I took out of an old tape recorder. etc.......

This explains half of the projects at Milwaukee Makerspace.

I've been busy wiring the MegaMax 3D printer.  I discovered that I really hate making cables!
I ran some motion tests to confirm my cables are good and that things are in order mechanically.
I mounted all the endstop switches- now I need to tweak the firmware.
The wiring is on-going

I did my taxes!  That's about a 300lb weight lifted off my shoulders!  Woohoo!
