hey gang...

I know you guys are great for coming up with ideas (especially 'for' other people to carry out!)..

being the Arduino 'fan' that I am.. I am looking for some ideas on my next Arduino project..
I find (for myself) the best way I 'learn', is if I have a 'goal' I want to achieve..  and 'end' to meet..  and I apply and/or learn the steps to get on the way.. (the resulting product/project is just a 'bonus' to the learning) :)

I have never played with the I2C protocol/part before...

I was thinking of using thr Wii nun-chuck for this.....

(tons of options, joy-stick, accelerometer  (I dont think a gyro), plus like 2 buttons)..   gives lot of control in 1 part/package.. all over I2C.. :)

but for what?  what kind of goal/project?

(on a side note.. anyone think a 'web based/on-line' GUI (interface) for a physical (servos/steppers, whatever) game of connect four would be a winner/fun project?)

overview:
some web-based GUI.. sends commands over internet, to an Arduino hooked up to some steppers to drop the chip in the correct column the user picked?

*either of these projects could double as the RadioShack entry perhaps as well?  (another shot for MMS to win stuff!) :)  I mean who doesnt like connect four?  haha..

What about a robot arm controlled by the Wiimote. Like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqK6FvNeSDE ...but cooler.

How about a 3D scanner to go with the printer at the makerspace?

Someone had mentioned build a round dolly platform for a 123d Catch rig that could use a standard camera as well.
