My car will not be ready for the nerdy derby. I just broke the casting from the mold and the front axle is off 5 degrees to the right.
This is what I get for, at 0400, hand drilling the mold instead of bringing it to the space and using the drill press last night.
So I am out of plaster and time for doing this.

JB Weld it and race anyway! Or bring the silliest looking root
vegetable you can find, stick 4 wheels on it and enter in the 'edible'
class...
My own chances of finishing my car are unknown, so I may just enter a
wheeled banana. It may not have much top speed, but you should see it
peel out...

I just got back from work and have to return there at 0430 so I don't know that I can do that.
I was going for fully babbitted bearings for the axles. The test casting worked fine. Should have nailed the wheel fairings and splitter on instead of recasting to attach them.
