Does anyone have a source for large, closet-door size mirrors, flawed is OK, or black plastic sheet with a glossy surface?  I would like enough of either of these materials to build a small room with space for a person and chair inside.  Did I forget to say cheap?  Yes, I'd like to find a CHEAP source of these materials.

As an alternative, metalized plastic film in large quantities might be acceptable if I can come up with a frame to stretch it over...

Thanks!

They also do Mirror Board

Available in Blue, Red, Green, Gold, Silver, and Copper
"Because of the super reflective shimmer that is characteristic of all of Hygloss' spectacular mirror cardboard, this material is just the thing for making less than typical displays and projects as well. Make a surreal mirror project for Halloween..."

So you are building an infinity-room?

I have a few 2'x2' squares of mirrored acrylic I could donate to a good cause. Just glue them to plywood or something to support them.
Looks like I have about 25 of them. That's 100 square feet.

If you are interested, call me

Yes, a variation on that idea.  I'm in the planning stages now- just trying to price out the cost of mirrors and some audio effects to go with the whole thing.

I'm thinking that a triangular space would work and maybe reduce cost.  I'll have to model the thing in POV-ray and try rendering it to see what the effect of a different number of walls would look like.

Commercial stuff is pretty pricey, so I may just have to watch Craig's list for a few months and buy mirrors piece-meal until I have enough material.
I was thinking some of those closet doors would be good if I can find them cheaply, or maybe hit a store fixtures sale when a place is going out of business.
