GrapheneOS is a private and secure mobile operating system with Android
app compatibility. I Installed GrapheneOS on a Pixel 5 phone to learn
more about it. Due to the tight security in GrapheneOS some Android
applications have a problem running on a phone with it installed.

This evening I decided to see if I could make a VoIP call over a WiFi
connection. I do not have a SIM or eSIM installed on the Pixel 5.

I host my business telephone number on Zoom along with video conferencing.

After installing the Zoom application on on the Pixel 5 with GrapheneOS
installed I had to explicitly allow the application to access the
microphone along with other hardware and software settings.

I had no problems making a VoIP telephone call from the Pixel 5 to my
personal phone number which uses a SIM to provide services.

Having Fun,
