Sorry if this is a repost for some of you, but this is a great way to promote hens in Milwaukee.  Join in the Coopetition or help them spread the word!

Hello All,

I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday and has enjoyed some recuperative time over the break in preparation for a new year.

As a reminder: the registration deadline for the coopetition is drawing near.  The deadline for the built coop is not til March 1st, so there's still plenty of time to put things together.  However, the last call to sign up without a late entry penalty is tomorrow.  Until January 1st, student teams can still register for only $30, and non-student teams for $50.

Donations* to the coopetition are coming in and  beintween intends to reward the top three teams with cash prizes ($1000/$500/$250 respectively); those earning honorable mentions will receive a check to cover the permit as well a pair of chicks to get their coops started.

So don't wait - sign up today!  You can register your team for the coopetition online @ beintween.orghttp://beintween.ning.com/events/coopetition.  Help spread the word - we can have birds in MKE!

Thank you all, and have a safe and happy New Year!

Best,

Keith Hayes, LEED AP

*A big thank you to Beans & Barley as well as Outpost Natural Foods for their generous support of locavores and the coopetition!
