We're planning a potluck/welcome dinner for the afternoon of June
13th. You'll have a chance to meet other hen-lovers from the area and
see where we are in the movement, as well as sign up to help at
farmers markets or build our new chicken coop this summer! If anyone
has any ideas of where to hold it (that may be a little more central
for everyone) that would be great. Join in on the discussion at our

We've finalized our plans for our summer picnic!!
Date: Sunday, 13 June 2010
Time: 04:00 - 07:30
Location: Riverside Park, near the Urban Ecology Center
1500 E. Park Place
Milwaukee, WI
Cream City Hens is holding its first (annual?) SUMMER PICNIC on June
13th from 4pm-??
Please bring your own chairs, beverages, and a dish to pass!
Burgers, hot dogs, buns, and condiments will be provided.
Fun events planned with facepainting for the kiddos, and games to play
(Volleyball anyone?), and meet the new chicks who will kick-off our
Henbassador program and check out what our booth will look like this
summer, and which events we will be attending. We'll also hold a
raffle for some fun things, including a shirt and a tote with our
brand new logo on it!
We will be charging $2/person to cover costs of the food. :o)
