Jessica Lane
My name is Jessica Lane--you might remember me from the meeting at the
Urban Ecology Center on Monday, March 29th as the person asking all of
the questions, and the person at the end of the night who was dumb
enough to raise her hand when the room was asked for volunteers, lol.
To get to know me better: I am a 26-year-old mother of two, full time
mom and full time student and full time insane. My husband's name is
Glynn, he's also going to school at UWM, and our daughter is Ella, 5,
and we have a son, Seamus, 2. I also run a small (minuscule)
business, called The Mad Menagerie--I take clients' dogs to the dog
park for an hour a day up to three times a week. I've only got two
clients right now but at least it keeps Muggle (my Cardigan Welsh
Corgi) in dog food. Other than that...hm...I love Harry Potter, I
enjoy sewing, baking, and knitting, and I have a love/hate
relationship with gardening. If you wish to contact me directly,

I have been quite busy since Monday, getting things going. One of the
primary things we wanted to get done was this group, which was started
by Sarah Moore. She has graciously allowed me ownership status in the
group, so I am able to interact with you all a little more in a
moderators position. There is now also an official Facebook page
(look for Cream City Hens) and a twitter feed (@CreamCityHens). There
are also hen-minded people to be found in a group on Transition
Milwaukee: http://transitionmilwaukee.ning.com/group/citychickens.
Cream City Hens can be emailed directly at CreamC...@gmail.com,
and if you wish to post something directly to the google group,
dictate an email to milwau...@googlegroups.com, with the title of
your post as the subject line. If you are replying to a post, RE the
title of the post you are responding to in the subject line, and your
response will be posted under the original topic.

If you do not wish your information to be publicly available, just
remove your information. If you sign up for the google group, you
will have a google ID, and this ID will allow you to edit the
spreadsheet. If you do remove/edit your info, however, please let I
or another moderator know directly so we can add you to the master,
private spreadsheet. Some of you have already asked that your email
not be shared with more than a few core members of our group, and
those wishes have been complied with. :o)
Okay, so I think that’s a long enough email for now! We hope you join
