Job Description:
· Level 3 desktop technician - We need a person with enterprise-level experience to resolve escalated support issues involving Windows 7 & 8.1; Office 2010 including Outlook, web browsers, desktop software and peripherals.
· This person must work well on a team and will likely lead and direct the work of other team members.
· As an advanced technician this person must work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
· A high level of creativity and latitude is expected. It is anticipated this person will have 8 or more years of experience covering virtually all aspects of supporting end user technology from imaging and patching to service management/ticketing systems.
· As a team that supports almost 2,000 desktops we use remote support tools and automate deployments where possible.
· A strong general knowledge of the interaction between desktops, management systems such as SCCM and infrastructure such as Active Directory, applications, networks, servers and security.
· This person must have the ability to work with customers and convey complex IT concepts in layman's terms. Knowledge of scripting is highly desirable.
