We've got a few announcements about what's happening with the Milwaukee Ultimate Club right now:
The Summer Scramble charity team and hat tournaments are June 2nd and 3rd. We've still got plenty of room for teams on Saturday and individuals on Sunday. Bring your Spring League team Saturday as a last gasp at greatness or bring your Summer League team as a warm up for the upcoming league. Then bring everybody back on Sunday to mix it up and play with somebody new. Proceeds from both tournaments will all go to local charities.
Summer League registrations are in full swing.
Mixed C (beginner league) could use a lot more registrations, so if you've got a group of friends that you'd like to introduce to the sport, get them to sign up with you in a group or as a full team.
Open and Mixed A are both moving along, but both leagues have room for plenty more people.
Mixed B team signup is just about over (you've got until end of day Monday to get your team submitted), and individuals and groups will be able to register starting May 19th. We expect this league to fill up fairly quickly, so be sure to get in there right away that weekend if you want to ensure a spot.
NOISE is a Madison-based competitive club team. They are having tryouts in Milwaukee on May 20th at Veteran's Park. Several Milwaukee players have participated on this team in the past.
