Many of the upcoming changes were in the works, but further pushed by the recent summer league registration issues. This summer we had an unprecedented flood of registrations the day league registration was open. This caused significant frustration on many players that attempted to sign up on a team for the Tuesday night league as teams ended up being denied or combined due to the first come, first serve registration process that required all team members to sign-up individually. This new system will allow us to better control the registration process and prevent the denial of teams due to individuals not being able to register immediately on the first day of registration.
With any major change there will be an adjustment period, but this system will allow us continually be able to refine our registration processes to meet the needs of our events as our leagues and events continue to expand and grow.
Team Registration Details - Opens August 5th To submit a team registration, a designated team captain will need to register on the website and enter the first name, last name, email, and gender of all the proposed teammates. If the team is accepted by the league director, the team captain and the team members will then receive an email with a link to allow them to join the team and pay. Registration Steps: Step 1: Team Captain clicks on the registration link found on http://milwaukeeultimateclub.com/leagues/fall-league/
Step 2: Sign in or Register for an account
The registration link will prompt for the captain to sign in (This is NOT your Sandlot Username and Password)
Most captains will need to create an account ("register"link on the Sign in page).
Only those that have already created accounts...such as for registering for any of the following events: Summer Scramble, Cooler Classic, or the Women's Clinic would already have an account.
Step 3: Enter Personal information - First Name, Last Name, Gender ,etc. Step 4: Enter Team Name Step 5: Add Team Members
Enter First Name, Last Name, Email, and Gender of your team members
A Minimum of 12 players is needed with a minimum of 5 players per each gender
Step 6: Wait for acceptance
The League director will notify captains of the timing of acceptance based on how fast team registrations come in.
Teams that are not accepted will have a chance to register as individuals
The League Director will then accept teams and the captain and players will receive a link to complete their registration and payment.
The team captain and all the team members will need to sign-in (register) and pay at that time.
Group Registration Details - Opens August 15th To submit a group registration, one player in the group must register and list their requested group members (first name, last name, email, and gender). The registering player will then be allowed to pay and the group members will receive emails allowing them to register for that group.
