Milwaukee Ultimate Club Call for Nominations

Greetings!
The Milwaukee Ultimate Club would like to announce that it is now accepting nominations to its Executive Board. The Executive Board is responsible for the oversight of all Milwaukee Ultimate Club activities, including charity events, leagues, and tournaments. According to our bylaws, the Board consists of 5-11 members who serve staggered 3 calendar-year terms, and the current Board votes on admitting new members. If you feel you or someone you know would be a good candidate, please send the name and contact information (phone/email address) to nomin...@milwaukeeultimateclub.com by January 5th. All nominees will then be contacted by the Board to confirm their nomination and commitment to serve, and asked to write a brief candidate statement.
The Milwaukee Ultimate Club is also accepting nominations for its Director Positions. The Directors are non-voting leaders in the Club’s organization who work directly with the Executive Board and who are responsible for managing much of the Club’s work. Volunteering as a Director is a great way to get real world experience in a non-profit organization. The Board will vote on the accepted nominations, and each elected Director currently serves in his/her position for one year. The positions are:
-Youth Director
-Women’s Director
-League Director
-Communications Director
-New for 2015: Marketing Director
If you feel you or someone you know would be a good candidate for a Director position, please send the name, the position nominated for, and contact information (phone/email address) to nomin...@milwaukeeultimateclub.com by January 5th.
