SUMMER LEAGUES!

 

We are pleased to announce that our Summer Leagues are just around the corner. Registration will be open on May 11th! All Summer leagues are played at Mount Mary College. Here are a few things of note concerning Summer Leagues:

 

1. Details and links for registration can be found on our recently revamped website at www.milwaukeeultimateclub.com

2. If you plan on signing up a team for the tuesday night Rec league, know that we have a limited amount of space for full teams, and these spots fill up fast. If you wait a few weeks to get your team signed up it is very possible that your team wont be able to stay together.

 

Also, brand new this season is our Monday Night Beginner League! This is a league specifically for players who are looking to learn how to play the game that so many of us love. So if you are a new player, or maybe if you have that one friend that you've been itching to bring out to leagues and they are hesitant because of not knowing the game, this is THE opportunity to learn the ropes from local players who have played at all levels. Sign ups can be as an individual or with a partner. On that note, if you are one of those experienced players and would like to have a chance to pass on some of that hard earned knowledge, shoot us an email and sign up for the Beginner League yourself.

 

SUMMER SCRAMBLE!

 

Still can't get enough Ultimate in? Consider registering for our 2011 Summer Scramble! This tournament is one of our charity events, with all proceeds from both days being donated to support local charities.

 

Saturday, June 4th, is a Mixed team tournament (Gender ratio: 4 men - 3 women) and the perfect opportunity to get your Spring League teams together for one final day of games! We have space for up to 16 teams with each team playing 5 games each.

 

Sunday, June 5th, is a Hat style tournament. Every player is individually registered and the names are thrown into metaphorical hat. From this hat, teams will be pulled for the day of games! So sign up to enjoy a day of Ultimate while getting a chance to meet new players from the area.
