DIY lithium BMS SOC meter

I've evaluated all the cells in Prius' PHEV kit pack now, and I know all of their capacities. That means the batteries are ready to go back in the car. So, its back to working on the BMS system to ensure nothing else bad happens again.

This weekend I worked on tweaking the current sensor setup. Its still not perfect, but after a few tests it seems to be accurate enough that I won't be over-discharging anything.  If anyone has experience with hall effect current sensors (using a Hass 100-S)  I'd appreciate a little help.

I also worked on getting the SOC meter tested. I got it wired up and tweaked the code a bit to get everything working correctly. I even made a quick video to show how its working. I do have another bargraph on order that is linear instead of having LEDs side by side. We'll see what one I like when that one gets here.

I have *minor* experience w/ hall effect sensors, as in, I have one on my motor controller and I've done some slight modification to it, beyond that I'd be useless. I can tell you that Paul (at  http://www.paulandsabrinasevstuff.com/ ) would have more experience w/ them since it is his motor controller that uses the HASS-600s, he would probably be a good resource and have some more in depth knowledge on them.

Hi Guys, I have 4 100AH 3.2V Lithium cells from a project.  they are currently at 0 volts,
but may provide some recycling opportunity or classroom value.   Free to a good home.
