Hey Guys,

I'm on the hunt for a LARGE series-wound forklift motor with a solid tailshaft.

Ideally, I'm looking for an 11-13" diameter motor with a robust tailshaft, with the drum brake still on it. (The brake then can be used to make a coupler for the tail end.)

The idea is to use the motor to hybridize a light pickup with the motor tail-shaft mechanically connecting to the output of a manual transmission, and the driveshaft of the motor to connect to the driveshaft of the truck's driveshaft.

Anyone have any leads on getting a motor as described?

Thanks in advance,

-Ben Nelson

One of our customers is Al over at Lift Truck Specialists in Butler. Roughly
located at Lily rd and Hampton on the northwest side of Milwaukee. He runs
the repair dept.

I don't have the phone number handy. You can tell him Mark the Heiser Chevy
driver sent you. He may be able to help you out.
