Hi, Tom Leitschuh here. You know, the Electric El Camino guy.

I have a disease called COPD and am on oxygen. Due to my health

and short life expectancy, I am selling my 1981 El Camino (all electric),

and my 2014 Chevy Volt with 7000 miles on it. I also have a 1970 GE

Elec-Trak 36 volt mower with brand new motors and charger.

Mows two acres on a charge.

Also, I have several 200AH Thundersky batteries with only 102 cycles on them.

Brian bought a few. If I can't sell the El Camino, I will sell the motor,

controller, charger and BATTERY PACK (32KwH CALB LifePO4) and the

donor truck for parts or as is.

Regretfully I am also selling my house with a 10KW Wind and 12.5KW Solar

system, all grid connected. See the listing here:

http://www.estately.com/listings/info/9209-w-county-road-k

Please let me know if you are interested in any or all of these, and

pass the word to others. I also have a TON of electronic parts, tools

and such to DONATE to the Milwaukee makerspace if anyone is interested.

Thank you all and God bless you.

Hi Tom,
Sorry to hear about your medical troubles.

I sent you an e-mail a few months ago about the Makerfaire that's happening this weekend at the State Fair grounds at the same time as Harvest fair.

I was hoping you could bring your El Camino to show, and still am.
I talked to the organizers and they are ok with you putting a for sale sign in the window of the car if you bring it for display.
The fair is currently structured so people just showing off get space free, and those selling pay for a booth ($150.)
The organizers are willing to let you show your car (and other toys if you like) free, if you do find a buyer at the fair it would be nice to send them the $150 commercial exhibitor fee.

I will be available this week with a tow dolly to move electric vehicles to the fair grounds and would be happy to help get your car moved.

Let me know what you think.

Tom

120V definately.
220V yes if we don't mind moving the car at night*, otherwise we need to request it and see if they have it in the budget to give us a 220V drop.

I believe the current plan has the electric cars inside the Expo center, although it it gets too full we might end outside.
There is a 220V 3 phase connection that the Tesla coil guys will have just outside the Expo center, we could park the car out there overnight and charge up.

Is the Maker space interested in a large collection of electronic parts for donation?

Hi Tom L,

The Makerspace and Electric Car Club group would be very interested in electronic parts donation. I'd be happy to pick them up. Tom G. might be able to as well.

Sure, I'd be happy to add component stock to the makerspace.
