We have the official go ahead, there will be a full two day Makerfair at the State Fair grounds September 27 and 28.

It will be at the same time as harvest fest (which attracts over 20,000 visitors) and will be free to visitors and free to exhibitors (vendors will have some fees.)

They will provide as much room as we want, indoor or outdoor.  We might even be able to drive around the Milwaukee Mile (although it might be used for parking :-(.

I would love to see a good showing of the electric car club, as many cars as we can bring and any other toys we want.

There is also room other exhibits or groups that related to making, so spread the word and lets try to fill up the expo center.

We should have the full web site, press release, and signup web site up in the next couple of weeks.

I'll definately show off my electric motorcycle and solar-power wheels.

Might be able to show off some other things as well. I now have a 1970 all electric GE Electrac lawn tractor. There's plenty of interest out there in electric things that aren't just cars!

Marquette has an electric van that they built, and MSOE has been converting their gas Shell Eco-Marathon car to electric. I'll see if we can get either of them to the MakerFair.
