software for wire diagrams - flowchart?

Hey Guys,

I would like to start work laying out a wire diagram for my DIY Plug-In Hybrid Pickup Truck project.

Can anyone recommend what software would help me do that? I was thinking some sort of flowchart software, perhaps? I just want lines that I can more around and images of a battery, a switch, a motor, etc, but would like it so that if I move an item, the line follows it. I am NOT drawing circuit boards here or anything like that, I just want to be able to draw "what wire goes where" and be able to draw it, and update it as the project advances.

Also, I'm on a Mac, so no "PC Only" software, please.

Shareware, Freeware, Open source, and affordable options preferred.
