Position: JD EDWARDS BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 1.5+ years
NOTE: Must have EN Asset Management Experience, and the candidate will have to stay in Malaysia for 8-9 Moths During the Project, all Expenses from TX to Malaysia will be paid by the Client, No Expenses will be paid during stay in TX
Maximum rate Cap is $90-100
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related discipline
Experience:
Required
* Five years experience in Information Technology ranging from programming to senior business analyst /developer
* Four years of experience in commercial software system support, implementation, or development
* 3+ years of experience working directly with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications (version 8.12 or higher), with an emphasis in Procurement, Inventory, and Asset Management
Preferred
* Knowledge of EnterpriseOne HR and Payroll modules Experience with EnterpriseOne 9.0 or 9.1
* Experience with iSeries (AS/400) and DB2
* Experience using Visual Basic.NET
* Experience with MS SQL Server (databases, T-SQL, stored proc

* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
* Attention to detail
Description:
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for business process improvement, solutions design and implementation, report requirements gathering and building, and support/development of systems interfaces. The Business Systems Analyst will work closely with business users and other IT professionals to provide functional/technical support and solutions for various software systems, primarily JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and other duties as assigned or directed.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
* Provide functional system setup and application support for JDE applications (EAM and Distribution modules).
* Troubleshoot issues and system bugs and provide direction for work-arounds, corrections and enhancements.
* Provide recommendations to enhance applications and implement solutions to drive business process efficiencies.
* Assist in the implementation of additional system functionality.
* Provide application support during upgrade processes.
* Review and analyze business processes and make recommendations to improve those processes through the use of JDE and/or other systems.
* Report requirements gathering and report writing.
* Travel to other company locations as needed.
* Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
* Prepare documentation and coordinate/conduct end user training.
