Just read a great quote from ChiVinMoto: "This facebook presence is an unfortunate dilution of the content that belongs on the actual ChiVinMoto mailing list. You should head over to Google groups and check out the original list. That's where all the real information is."Here in Milwaukee there are a lot of people that have 'joined' the MilVinMoto facebook page and there are twice as many that are on the Google Group for MilVinMoto. Even with the hundreds of people that are part of these lists, there are only a handful of posts by a handful of posters. Has MilVinMoto become a stale list? Has fb made it so nobody goes to Google Groups anymore? With fb, people aren't posting there either. If video didn't kill the radio star, fb would have. Problem is, fb itself is ineffective as a list tool for a group like this. Anybody agree / disagree? (Or even care?)
