Paint Codes

Hey all,

 

I know this was batted around a year or two ago, but like an idiot I forgot to save the e-mail.

 

Where do I find the paint codes for those crazy metal flake paint colors on the early 70’s Hondas?  You’ve all seen them, metal flake green, metal flake orange and metal flake…what?...poop brown.

 

I’ve got two green tanks and a brown one that need some attention.

Suffer this fool. What value is knowing paint codes for 40+ year old paint? I really don't understand how this can help in the restoration process.
