I've been out of the loop and away from any Tuesday night festivities all summer working 2nd shift. Tonight I'm a free man and its looking like rain... Should the rain hold off where might I find some fellow riders? Mark

Wow. Now there's some passion. I have to admit, I do miss those days. A few years ago at LuLu, and before that at the HiHat, you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a vintage ride. But then again, one of the things I've enjoyed about this group is the variety. I can do without the so-called "stunt riders," I think the douche is a little too strong with those guys. So, back to the original question... Is anything moto-related going on this evening? Two wonderfully worded submissions, each with their own eloquence. Isn't it uplifting to occasionally see people's perspectives and passions regarding MilVinMoto?  I, personally, have enjoyed seeing (and participating) in some of this banter..........

 

As for the differentiating between the rich old farts on Harley's and the jumped up young douchbags on crotchrockets; the rich old farts will probably remain Harley weenies, but those douchbags, those that survive that is, will be the MilVinMoto's of tomorrow........

 

I was probably seen as a teenage 'upstart' unfit for any level of  societal 'tolerance', riding my 650cc Manx Norton/BSA hybrid 'crotchrocket', dubbed by the fraternity a 'cafe racer', back in the UK in the 70's..............

 

I survived (almost didn't), so did the bike (almost as I built it) and now I'm a happy MilVinMoto 'non member'............. Oh, life among motorcycles & motorcyclists is good.............   :o)

 

I hope that you did find a TWT ride Mark!!!
