Scene actors and costume changing order

Dear all,

Please review the scene assignments and costume changing order. Let me know if there' any mistake in the order.

Please keep a copy of this handy with you so that you can reference it quickly.

Scene 1: Introduction --- Alexander and his army (no dance)  

Actors: Shaina,  Neeharika, Gautam (Alex),  Amulya, Rohit and Anuhya  ( Soldiers ) (this is the order they will be entering the stage)

Changing after scene 1: Shaina, Neeharika, Amulya and Anuhya to Snake dance costume.

           (aaruhsi, pratima, anjali and sahiti should already be in their snake dance costume)

Scene 2: Rishi and the little boy

  Actors (from milpitas group): Shreya in aapsara costume, Karthik and Varun in Rishi dress --- White dhoti and anggostaram with wooden spoon in hand

  

  Props: wooden spoon

Changing after Scene 2: Karthik and Varun to ball player costume (colored kurtha and dhoti)

     Shreya to Naren (white kurtha and dhoti)

Scene 5: Snake incident --- Snake dance 

  Actors: Rohit and Gautam (Alex) ( Soldiers ), 

Karthik and Varun (Ball Players), 

Shreya (Vivekananda), 

Dancers (Sahiti, Amulya, Neeharika, Prathima, Anuhya, Shaina,  Aarushi, and Anjali --- enter in this order)

  Props:  Chair for Shreya

Changing after scene 5: Karthik, Varun and Shreya to Greek soldier costume

Anjali and Neeharika to Ramakrishna costume (white kurtha, dhoti and shawl)

Sahiti (white kurtha and dhoti)

Shaina (organge kurtha and dhoti)

Gautam to disciple (any colored dhoti and kurtha)

Anuhya to disciple (any colored saree)

Scene 8: Difficult times and Kali prayer, Kali temple

  Actors: Aarushi, Amulya, Karthik (Alex) and Rohit ( Soldiers ), 

        Anjali (Ramakrishna), 

        Neha Sunil (Vivekananda)

        Gautam and Anuhya as disciple

        

        Changing after scene 8: Anjali to Kathak costume

        Neha sunil to white dress

        

Scene 9: Disciple testing the Guru  

  Actors: Aarushi, Karthik (Alex), Prathima (Soldiers 1), 

Sahiti (Vivekananda 1), 

Neeharika (Ramakrishna), 

Rohit, Aarushi, Varun(Alex), Shreya, and Amulya (Soldiers 2), 

Shaina (Vivekananda 2), 

Neeharika (Ramakrishna)

Gautam and Anuhya as disciples

         Guru dance team (YB youth)

  Props: cot with blanket

Changing after scene 9: Prathima, Aarushi, Sahiti, Neeharika, and Shaina to Kathak costume for scene 10 (time to change 12 mins! only)

           Varun to white dress for scene 11

Scene 10: Bengal dance 1

  Actors: Sangita Nandy's students

  

  

  Scene 10: Bengal dance 2

  Actors: Sahiti, Neeharika, Prathima, Shaina,  Aarushi, and Anjali

I have 3 more Greek costume left from Milpitas group. Some of them decided to share with each other last week. I will bring them today so you can decide for the group.

Hi Ratna,

I ordered only 9 costumes (including the shared ones) for Milpitas group.

I think 8 were already picked up... only 1 should have been left and that one Gulshan (Siddhant's mom)

will pick it up today.

I will verify the count with you today at ICC.
