Itried chatting with Lucky Mobile support and the agent connected me with Bell Customer Support who sent me a mail on generating QR code. Unfortunately for that I need a Bell Mobility account and I cannot use the LuckyMobile number to activate. there.
I had similar issues with iPhone 11. Telus on physical sim and lucky on esim. Check with Apple first if the provider is supported on esim. Neither lucky, bell, or telus support or store employees know how to setup. I googled and found a solution, went to store and had to argue with lucky store staff to get the setup done. Its working fine since last year.
I have a Physical SIM I'd like to swap to eSIM. All attempts through the portal online don't work, I spoke to Customer Chat, they advised going to a store, however, I don't live near a store - so I'm trying here and if I do go to the shop, I want to make sure it can be done as some people have tried 5-10 stores with no luck.
However, my profile does not have this phone number linked, and the only way to link a number is to have SMS verification. However, I cannot do SMS verification because Lucky owns my phone number, which is now inactive.
Comment: Agents do not make any money off this, unlike new activations. Please be respectful. I was turned down at three different kiosks before I found some guys who were willing to help me figure it out. Thus YMMV.
Tips:
A. As you may suspect after reading step 1, a kiosk can directly activate a plan for eSIM without using a physical SIM card first. If you have not yet activated, a transfer is not necessary. Just ask for activation and offer your EID. I have read this works when activating over the phone also.(edited)
B. You will need WiFi (or other internet) to add the eSIM plan to your phone.
C. Print the first page of your service contract for easy identification.
D. Print the above instructions (and photos, will attach shortly) to give to the agent.
*E. You may be able to do step 2. on the Lucky website yourself. Login > My Phone Tab > Manage my phone > Transfer service to a new SIM card.

I'm wondering how to get an electronic sim card of my physical copy that I have in my phone now. Unfortunately my phone is a bit broken and when I took it to get it fixed the messed up the service in the phone. I can call receive calls an text while I'm outside but since it's messed up again it's acting like I have no sim card. Is the any way to get an electronic version
The routing is sometimes 'weird',
because it will just find you the quickest route,
even through small alleys or laneways or neglected roads.
In Europe (ie. Balkans) it was "fun" to say the least, haha
For those having trouble getting the referral code to work for the second redemption, the code you are trying could be invalid (there are 2 codes given under the invite the friend link and only the redemption one works for this).
But.. anyone actually able to actually access the 30 international calling mins? Just tried it on my own, mum's and dad's phone. Same issue with all 3. It looks like the call is starting in the app, it then redirects to my phone's native dialer, and then the call immediately ends. All required permissions have been granted.
The call end immediately happened to me too. Try to repeat the call like 3-5 times as it works for me that way (Called to Thailand). Also it's voip service, So you need a good internet connection for it (Australia has a pretty good internet connection though).
My Eskimo data just ran out while in Indo, so this is great timing. You may need to manually set the APN details for the esim as per the app troubleshooting guide (APN and name set to 3gnet). Once I did this, data working and another 2GB to get me through. Cheers OP.
Upon redeeming the code, it accepts it. But there's no "Activate eSIM" button and it shows "There is currently no inuse plan" on the "View data plan" screen where it's supposed to allow me to activate the eSIM.
