Update On Timeline and App Store Requirement

Hi All Participants-

Thanks very much for the great feedback we've received via the Google Group.  We've considered your input and have some important updates for the Million Hearts Risk Check Challenge:

• We will be notifying the 5 finalist teams no later than Friday, 11/30 (vs. 11/19 in the original timeline).
• The finalist teams will be announced at the mHealth conference on Monday, 12/3 (finalists are not required to be present at the announcement).
• We are going to use an ad hoc distribution approach (rather than requiring all apps be published in the relevant app stores) to test the finalist apps.  All teams are asked to have their apps ready to go for distribution by Sunday, 12/9.  If you are selected as a finalist we will work with you to get your app installed for testing.
• If you are selected as a finalist it is expected that your application should be published in the app store sometime in early 2013 - ONC and Health 2.0 will provide more specific guidance in early December.
• The Million Hearts campaign will begin on February 14th.
