I hope you are all in good health and doing fine. Am O.k, just wanted
to ask whether us guys can still meet sometime before this year ends.
The meet-up is long overdue in my and probably in others like Ogbuefi
Beric Kiplimo, et al's opinion. At the same time, it does not have to
be a Big thing. The few of us that are in Nairobi can come together
and chat. Additionally, during the end of the year, most people are
more relaxed and more available (leave from work, school holidays,
etc) What does the rest of you say? Please contribute a date and
place if you are in agreement with the idea.
Sincerely yours,
Omusamia.
Let us tentatively say we are going to meet on either the 4th or the
11th of Dec, make your pick with considerations to your schedules. We
can keep the venue the same as the place we last met, that is Seasons'
club - Nairobi since the turnout looks like it will be low. Or you
have better ideas?
You do realize that it has been ten years now since we left the
Seminary after K.C.S.E, right? Wacha tutaona wale wenye wamemea
vitambi na vipara ni wakina nani ....... B-D
Regards,
Martoh.
Am in agreement with the fourth of Dec. The rest of the weekends are
unpredictable.
I have another idea. I was suggesting we meet on Monday the 13th of
Dec, which is supposed to be a Public holiday too becaue of 12th
(Jamhuri day). I still support the idea of going to Upper Hill for the
meet-up. Please give alternative choices for the dates and venue.
Francoh / Gabu, do you have other places you had in mind for the
event??!
I am still waiting for your Valuable responses. I know you are busy
and all, and so is everyone else.
We really need to agree on a date and venue before this month ends so
that guys can re/organize themselves. In my opinion, the many / few
that can make it on the specified day / time will meet, even if it is
a handful. The most important thing is to come together and mark ten
years since we left the Seminary.
There are at least thirty people on this list and nobody is saying
much, unless you do not read e-mails (or you do not know how to
respond, which I doubt is the case). Wasee, tafadhalini Co-operate,
otherwise your silence will be mistaken for dis-interest and we will
let another year fly away.
What happened to the psyche that the M. O. A. Seminary's class of year
2k used to have??!
Regards,
Martin Akolo.
