About us
Selen For Congress is a small business in Morris Plains, NJ. Our goal is to get Tayfun to Congress. When Tayfun arrived in the US, he didn't speak English, he didn't have any money on me, but he wanted the opportunity you can only get in America. New Jersey should be a great place to live, work, raise a family, and retire because of the so many volunteers. As your Congressman, Tayfun will work to make it even better. Currently, he serves as a Morris County Commissioner and works as a Senior Vice President of Administration at Lincoln Educational Services focusing on skilled trades education. Tayfun believes that traditional college is not for everyone, and trade education is a great alternative for our kids. As a Morris County Commissioner, he held the lines on taxes and ensured that county tax dollars were focused on key priorities like public safety, infrastructure, education, and the environment. As the Mayor of Chatham Township, he cut municipal property taxes, earned a rare AAA credit rating, and reduced spending by over $200,000. Tayfun is running for Congress in NJ-11 because he wants to give back to the community by helping the people of New Jersey and the country who gave him so much along the way.

We are looking for a talented and experienced field director to oversee our organization. The perfect candidate will have a background in leadership, plus a fresh perspective on how to run the day to day field operations. The ideal candidate will also have experience supervising a staff and in volunteer coordination. As field director, you will manage outreach and direct canvassing goals. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to developing a field plan based on data, handling canvassing software, research, creating a team to execute decisions, coordinating with local communities and campaign volunteers, review and retain volunteers, educate everyone involved on the approved political message, arranging and facilitating voter engagement events, establishing open communication with voters, recruiting, training, and maintaining high quality data of all field activities. The Field Director will work closely with the campaign manager to develop and execute a successful field strategy and to monitor canvassers. There will also be opportunities to gain experience with other aspects of campaigning. We are looking for someone who could start ASAP. Previous experience is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.

Pay: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
