It is time we start focusing on the issues rather than a political party. Jersey 1st is Currently hiring interns on a rolling basis for a fully virtual or a hybrid internship.


Opportunities are available for high school, college, and graduate students. This is an UNPAID internship, available for school credit or volunteer hours.


Job Description:

● Monitor state legislative actions, bills, and laws being drafted

● Draft, distribute and pitch news releases, media alerts, and other stories

● Support research, and strategic approach projects

● Assist with minimal administrative tasks

● Collaborate with staff on new ideas, directions, and venues for the organization


Qualifications:

  • Interested in Government and politics
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Proficient in GSuite
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented


Location:

All operations and activities are conducted in person in Parsippany, NJ. Virtual, hybrid and in-person opportunities are available.
