Please send out a friendly reminder to keep your car doors locked overnight - a bag was stolen from my car last night and another car on our street (Timberbranch) was also broken into. A police report was filed and the officer did mention that the department is actively working to catch the perpetrator(s) in the act.

Perhaps putting a motion activate spotlight on a tree or post near the driveway would help.   I have two Mr. Beams along my driveway and walk to the house.  Have had for several years, rarely need to replace the batteries.  I think I got mine on Amazon but I see Walmart also has them.  A sudden light may scare off potential thieves.
