planning commission meeting tonight!

In addition to sending emails, please try to attend the meeting tonight if you can.  This has the potential to significantly impact  and quality of life in our neighborhood.  Having bodies at the meeting will be really important.     Thanks! Barb

Details: Tuesday, September 25 at 6 pm in Lane Auditorium at the Albemarle County Office Building downtown.

n case you and other neighbors are interested, tomorrow night the Peabody School is requesting a Special Use Permit from the County in conjunction with its plans to expand enrollment and convert temporary buildings to permanent ones. While the school's growth is not particularly concerning, one aspect of its plan is a right-turn only exit from the parking area onto Southern Parkway, which would direct vehicles westbound with the objective of funneling that traffic through our neighborhood.
