Please respond to Terry- I think mail delivery has been sporadic for everyone. I didn’t realize that mail pick up was considered a courtesy- esp. since we don’t have corner mailboxes any more.

Subject: Mail Delivery and pick up?
Hi Barb,
Sorry about your car break in.
Could you please ask our neighbors if they had mail delivery and pick up on Saturday, 12/2 and Monday, 12/ 4.
I checked with a couple of close neighbors and they haven’t received mail since Friday either.
I put mail to be picked up in my mailbox at 61 Mill Creek Drive Saturday morning. It was still there this morning, Tuesday,12/5.
Every month I receive a check from a bank on the 2nd of the month, except this month. I checked with a couple of close neighbors and they haven’t received mail since Friday either. BTW, when they delivered a package on Sunday and put it in the mailbox, they pulled down the flag. Why?
When I went to the post office this AM to complain, Sylvia Jones told that mail pick up is a courtesy, not required. She asked if mail was delivered to my mailbox, I told her “no”, and she said, “see” as tho that was why my mail was not picked up.
I’d like to hear back what other Mill Creek residents coped with since Saturday so I can tell the new postmaster/postmistress, Ms Farmer.
Thanks,
Terry Nance
