Alex, thank you for your question.
https://www.map.army has the focus to demonstrate how our Military Symbology Services can be implemented into a web application. We deliberately have not added support of KML (KMZ) as an export format to this online demo application as there are some limitations within the KML file format.
However, we do internally have developed products that support KML/KMZ outputs. In addition, we do have a conversion tool for MILX to KML/KMZ. You can send us your MilX-Layers to
m...@gs-soft.com and we will convert them for you into a KMZ format which can be opened in GoogleEarth or ArcGIS Earth.
Should you have MilX-Layers which you cannot sent to us for conversion we can provide you with a standalone version of MssDraw (windows application) which you can use to locally convert the files to KMZ.
Kind regards
Martin from the map.army team
Please be aware of the following limitation: If you are looking to open the layers generated in
https://www.map.army in ATAK (after conversion to KMZ) we have to inform you the KMZ is not fully supported in ATAK.
