Is there a way to share the map on read only through a link to other people ?

Thank you for your quick response.

I did do that, it worked, but the image overlay (svg) I had on the background wasn't shared

Is there a way to make it appear in the shared version too?

Currently the share does only include the military overlay (MilX-Layers).

Background as Image Overlays are not part of the Share. However, with the next release the web application the loading of static Image Overlays will be much simpler. This includes an automatic loading of Image Overlays on the start of the application.

The next release of www.map.army is planned for next week and will introduce the automatic loading of Image Backgrounds from a local source. In addition to the URL of the Share you will have to provide the Image of the Image Overlay to your partners. However, this action is only required to be done the first time. After this the Image Overlay will be automatically loaded.
