API Access to MilX Layers

Hi team - love this web app!
I am a terrible frontend engineer but this does everything exactly as want.

Would it be possible to have API Access to programmatically update/read a MilX Layer?
The use case being to have an underlying engine is using the app as a reporting/UI layer.
