hex grid disappearing when zoomed out

Hi there, new to the group and haven't found a solution to my question just yet.

When I zoom out of the Pacific area enough with a 10nmi hex, I am unable to see the hex grid. If this is a solvable problem I would love to get some help on it. Overall, easy learning curve, thanks so much.
