Hello,

Thank you so much to your team for implementing the online sources features for kml and image layers, it's been a huge help in our TTS Red Strike game we're playing. However, we've recently run into a major issue for the way we're using map.army.

As of the last week or so, when we upload our kml's, the person making and sharing the map can see the icons during the initial set up of the map, and if you load the kml's locally, they correctly pull the images and place them into the appropriate locations on the map.army map. However, if anyone else tries to load the maps being generated now, or if you force a hard refresh by pressing CTRL+F5, it seems like there's something behind the scenes that's blocking the images from being loaded.

Here's an example of a map that won't load the kml's anymore https://www.map.army/?ShareID=1043500&UserType=RW-XfZa2CIn, if you look at the Online Vector layers, the layers are supposedly there, but don't load and there's tons of errors in the F12 console log in the browser about failing to pull assets.

Here's the links to the .Kml's I used to generate the map, and the two pictures I took around Berlin to show an example : https://github.com/Bigredgeek/SOTN_TTS2KML_Merged/releases/tag/SOTN-post-GT4  The first image is what the area around Berlin should look like (pulled from when I first add the kml's to the map), the second is what end users see. I did add the KML's as online sources before I created the map share.

Again, thank you for the work you put into this incredible tool, it's been an essential part of the planning side for Blufor and Redfor. We hope it's an easy fix on your end, it was working before without issue.

Cheers,

Dear Michael,

Thank you for your detailed error report for https://www.map.army. We appreciate you taking the time to provide the context of your use case and the specific links.

We could reproduce the issue on our side and are currently in the process of fixing it.
We are planning to release the fix this weekend as part of the release of the latest version.
