Folks;
The television news is still shouting about $0.12 kWh electrical power rates beginning in September. Delivery and Transmission charges more than doubles that figure. However, even that final number is dramatically lower than just a short time ago.
Many independent electrical power aggregation companies have already been enrolling customers here in Milford.
I’m also getting 3 - 5 offers for from solar contractors via email each day.
What might this do to our Community Power Aggregation Plan?
Reminder about our Thursday, 20 July 2023 meeting, 5:30 p.m., at the Milford Police Department, 19 Garden Street in Milford. We have been deferring any other meetings until just before Standard Power/Good Power team receives responses from their Request for Proposals (RFP). If, as we believe, there is still an opportunity to offer Milford’s residents a savings on their electrical power costs, 20 July appears to be a reasonable time to begin finalizing our plans.
I will publish an agenda and public notice by 10 July 2023. Please send me your items for discussion to be included in our agenda.
Thanks kindly,
