   OLD BUSINESS:

  1. Background:  on Wednesday, 16 August 2023, Standard Power of America (SPoA) received the randomized billing information from Eversource.  This is the information for which the SPoA & Good Energy team had been waiting.  Now they will be able to issue detailed Requests for Proposal [RFP] to satisfy the requirements of Milford’s citizens and small businesses not already under contract with second party suppliers.

SPoA will brief our members about their progress

on this request for proposals and our

         responsibilities under RSA 53 - E: 6 & 7

We MEAC & MCPC members need to be able to

answer questions and assist with the required

Public Hearings and Training process.  Due to the

expected number of people who have expressed

interest and concerns, we will definitely require the

and an evening Public Hearing/Training to fulfill our

Ms. Tina & Ms. Tina;

I’m sorry, believe I may have misunderstood that other illustrative Tina: Ms. Tina Philbrick.  I thought she had said we were booked for every Thursday from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. through the end of this year.  Apologies for my error.

Due to the nature of our Committee, being the first of its kind and the Legislature just finishing their work to enable town electrical energy aggregators to operate {RSA 53-E}, we have had no reason to meet of late or until bids are received.  Even our planned 7 September slipped.

Our contractors have published their Requests for Proposal and we expect responses quite soon but just do not know when.  This is most frustrating for us on our Committee and for Milford’s Townspeople who voted for lower electrical power supply costs through our work.

Once the bids have been received, we will need to take immediate action to meet our demand for Public Hearings and Training Sessions (in the Town Hall Auditorium - I will schedule with the other Ms. Tina).

For the immediate future, is it possible to reserve Thursday from
5:30 - 6:30 p.m., please?  Thereafter, we will have a much more stable Committee workflow and expect to meet no more than twice each month [1st and 3rd Thursday 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.] if those days and times are available, please.

We are the newest Committee and, while we had a very busy workload at first, the current forced interlude is galling we’er eager to help deliver lower cost electrical power supplies to Milford’s ratepayers.

I’d welcome your suggestions and act accordingly.

Thxxx kindly,

Good Morning Mike,

I don’t believe I had notice of the Sept. 7th meeting date. The attached list is all I have, with last meeting scheduled for July 27th.

Do you have an updated list of proposed meeting dates you could forward so that I can reserve the room for you?

Thank you very much.
