With Figures Toy Company recently releasing their 8-inch scale Batman Retro line, Mego fans have been in heaven. Not only does Figures Toy Company have plans to expand that line and build extensively on the original DC Mego figures, but now Diamond Select Toys has made a huge announcement regarding their next big product which brings them into the Mego market as well.

In order to really sweeten the offer and properly launch their Marvel Mego figures line, Diamond is basically making it impossible to say "no" to this first release. How? By also giving you a complete Peter Parker secret identity Mego repro of sorts.

Taking a lead from Captain Action, this first 8-inch Spider-Man release by Diamond will also include a second interchangeable head-sculpt and uniform to quick-change Spider-Man into his secret identity. Peter Parker comes complete with a brand new head sculpt that looks just like Parker from the early days of Marvel Comics. Remember, the original (and extremely rare) Peter Parker secret identities figures from Mego simply recycled a Shazam! head for Parker.

And as if that's not enough, Diamond is throwing in everything you need to build a third version of the Amazing Spider-Man. You also get another modern version of Spider-Man's uniform with a third interchangeable head sculpt. The modern uniform varies in that it has black "webs" stitched-in under the arms and the printed webs on the uniform run completely across the chest and right over the printed spider.

The modern Spider-Man suit from Diamond also varies from the repro-Mego version in that Spider-Man's red boots are not part of the cloth uniform. Instead, Diamond gives you a traditional pair of removable stiff plastic boots to complete the look of our modern Spider-Man figure.

To celebrate the launch of Spider-Man Miles Morales coming to PlayStation consoles later this year, Sony is collaborating with LEGO to release a limited-edition minifigure version of the upcoming games titular character. As the very first official Miles Morales minifigure, the new brick-built Spider-Man will be one of the most coveted characters from the Marvel LEGO theme. Donning his iconic red and black suit, the Miles Morales minifigure is an exclusive release with all-new printing on the head, torso, and legs. From the first look, there are plenty of details from the game included here to really help sell the collectibility. And as accustomed for these limited-edition figures, this one will come in a sleeve with Spider-Man Miles Morales art alongside the minifigure itself.

While we typically see more exclusive minifigures like this available at Comic-Cons and other similar events, LEGO and Sony will be doing something a bit more interesting this time around. Fans looking to bring this limited-edition figure to their collections will have to be lucky enough to win this giveaway in order to secure the new Miles Morales minifigure.

Diamond Select Toys has unveiled its lineup of exclusive collectibles that fans will be able to get their hands on at 2024's San Diego Comic-Con. Four of the toymaker's exclusive offerings include figures from Lord of the Rings, Marvel Comics' Wolverine, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Transformers.

The collectibles will be available exclusively at the Diamond Comics booth (2401) and include two Minimates sets, one deluxe action figure and one mini-bust. The Wolverine bust features the character's original yellow costume and measures approximately 5 inches tall. It includes real metal claws and is limited to only 500 pieces, each packaged in a full-color box with a numbered certificate of authenticity. The Wolverine mini-bust will sell for $90. Diamond Select Toys plans to announce booth events and more exclusives closer to the start of San Diego Comic-Con on July 24.

In addition to the Wolverine bust, Diamond Select Toys will also have an action figure of Lord of the Rings' Gimli, Son of Gloin that features an all-new un-helmeted head sculpt that includes axes and interchangeable parts. A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Retro Video Game Cartridge box set pays homage to hit arcade games of the 1990s with 8-pixel versions of the four Turtles, and a Transformers Minimates VHS box set brings a classic episode of The Transformers to life with 2-inch figures featuring the Rainmakers. All four exclusives will be available at the Diamond Comics booth during SDCC.

As San Diego Comic-Con gets closer, even more exclusive collectibles are being announced. Funko has announced that they will offer collectors the chance to create their own Pop figures wearing Deadpool and Wolverine's iconic suits.

Dragon Ball fans will have the chance to get three exclusive collectible figures from S.H. Figuarts' Dragon Ball collection. More exclusives from other brands are expected to be announced as the convention draws closer.
