We haven't made any posts to this group or the web site in over two
months. This is because we have been working overtime to implement a
host of new features for the Milescript tool chain. We are on
schedule to have these updates ready for the beginning of the year,
2008. Here is a brief list of what to expect...

- Eclipse Plugin ( this is in alpha, advanced features like
refactoring will take more time )
- Unit Testing framework ( utilizing the CrossCheck open-source
project )
- Generated Documentation ( similar to Javadoc, advanced features will
take more time )
- LibExt - allows type-checked Ext 2.0 to be used in Milescript
- elements from ECMAScript 4, such as Record and Union types for use
with External Classes
- more demos and tutorials

Also, the Milescript 1.0 Specification is now finalized. Any further
changes to the language syntax will be included in future versions of
Milescript and will maintain backwards compatibility with Milescript
1.0.

Now that the core toolset is nearing completion and the first version
of the language is finalized, we will be making more frequent updates
to this group and the web site.
