I have spoken briefly with Theresa Frederick on this matter and intend
to persue it further.

Thought this might be a good venue to explore.

We have tried to run some womens tourneys in the past and have gotten
pretty light fields.

What would it take to get you ladies to come out for a pool
tournament? Entry fee, ADDED $, Handicapping, game of choice, time of
day, day of the week and anything else. Room related issues?

I know some have mentioned crappy servers at the Cue Club and that is
undeniable. I have done what I can to rectify the problem and I think
and hope it has gotten better...

Anyway, I am the guy that sets these things up and would really like
to offer the women pool players of this area something they can look
forward to and be proud of. But, like any other room out there we
need to have turnouts to keep it going for the long haul, which is
really the goal.

I have thought of doing maybe a series of tourneys with another room
or rooms with points.(Just a thought)

Any and all toughts are appreciated...feel free to criticize if needed
(If I can print words out on paper it can be very compelling to my
higher ups;).

I'm listening,

Thanks all!

C

I think a womens tournament that is on going with points is a good
idea.

What made the womens tournament in Ft Collins get the turn outs that
they did?

I think if you do a single tournament it needs to be ranked in some
way so the lower ranked players will play in it as well.
