Las Contemporáneas of the Museum of Ventura County presents:
1st Annual Latina Short-Film Festival
March 8, 2014
Submissions due by January 30, 2014
To provide the opportunity for Latinas to showcase their art through film direction in the short film category.
To increase the knowledge base of issues surrounding Latinas and to allow for their voices to be heard.
2014 Submissions Requirements
• Must be directed, produced or written by a Latina
• Shorts only
• Films must be no longer than 25 minutes

• Artist Event Submission Agreement & Release of Liability
• 50-word biography of Director, Producer, or Writer
• Photo of Director, Producer, or Writer
• Photo still and synopsis of film
• DVD (will not be returned)

Applicants must download, print, and fill out the Submission Form and Artist Event Submission Agreement & Release of Liability and submit both forms with their applications.

When submitting your entry, please do not send us your master copy, as films submitted for review will not be returned. Submit DVD format compatible with standard NTSC players.
SUBMISSION OF FILM DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT IT WILL BE SHOWN.
The festival committee will preview the films but a panel of judges will determine the winners. Selected entries will receive two passes for the two-day event.
