A hang fire and they opened the breech too soon?

IIRC, on a cannon, you need to wait 1/2 hour
before attempting to extract the round if
a hang fire occurs and the weapon is hot.

Too early to speculate....so many possibilities....I am sure there will be a very thorough investigation. Lets let this rest for a while and all my prayers out there for the families.....Steve was one of the nicest guys in the hobby. He will be missed....
