Uncle Sam did it all the time.  It's called a depot rebuild.

Or they spent $10,000 on "restoring" it and just added a "0" to
the figure thinking that ebay is populated by fools and their
money waiting to be parted.

Even if it was a jeep in a crate, I doubt anyone would pay
$100,000..... but you never know.

What a POS, someone did a real hack job on that one! Hanging speaker wire for power to the radio and CD player, really? Perforated hardboard for a headliner, are you nuts? Nothing says "shoot me" quite like contrasting yellow paint accents. Only redeeming factor is the 3 dummy M2's . . .

Not to defend whoever "restored" it, but I had a M35 with a hard top that came right out of government that has peg board for the head liner!

Other than that- meh!
