Hi everyone.
can someone tell me what is the max cruise speed i can drive my CUCV ? A local shop overhauled my transmission and dont wanna blow up anything.Im not a racer guy, im a "below 45mph guy" but need to know because i will make frecuent long range/distance travels and many will be done with cargo (somes full capacity).I heard the TH 400 is a great reliable transmission (somes 80's Rolls Royce use it due to the weight of the vehicle itself, 4 tons...just like M-1008!) but is not too fast.
I will begins a small delivery service bussines and the more travels i'll make the more money i earn so that's why my concern about speed.I dont have enough money to swap a faster modern truck and i do like a lot my M-1008 to make it but need and alternative to make she runs faster.My brother toll me about install a turbo...it is possible ?I know i should change the pistons if i go turbo, and add lube lines but i guess my fuel compsumption will rise too...so?
Been thinking about swap another transmission but doesn't know wich Transmission to choose.I need one can handle the cargo and give good reasonable speed. what about the TH 700R?
Theres a way to make my CUCV runs a little faster ,changing the transmission ,without loose the cargo capacity?
