Welcome to the ongoing stories of the Mikos online AD&D campaign. A new segment will be posted every week. The stories are listed below with the newest first. So to read the stories in the intended order, you need to go to the bottom and work up. There's a link in the oldest story which leads you to the earlier segments written before we switched to Google Groups, or you can find them via the Online Campaign Index.

Near the top of each story just under the search bar you will see a pair of "arrows" (angle brackets like this <>, really) which can be used to navigate from one to the next. They will tell you the title of the next or previous post if you hover over them, too. These previous and next links alas do not appear in some phone or tablet browsers, but you can always click back to this index or the  Online Campaign Index to find the next story.

When reading individual stories, be sure to watch for "threaded" continuations. The system sometimes a bit unpredictably combines a couple of day's stories into one topic, so when you open the post you see only the newest segment with the others collapsed at the top. I generally try to fix that when I see them, but just in case you have been warned.

If in doubt, check the Online Campaign Index. I try to always give you a direct link to the proper segment there. Also may be easier to see the proper order on that index. The other advantage of the Online Campaign Index are links to the original drafts of these stories. There is often additional explanatory information, comments, or Q&A in the drafts that did not belong in the narrative for those who are curious.

I was hand-editing links to the index and the drafts onto the top of each segment originally, but Google seems to have taken away the option to edit posts for no good reason I can imagine. So if you want to poke around and read the drafts, you'll have to use the Online Campaign Index. The draft version is always linked there, as well as links to upcoming stories that have resolved events in the campaign but not yet been 'published' to this group.

A lot of supporting information which may explain many names, places, or other campaign specific information can be found in the Mikos Info Master Index. I rather expect you can enjoy the stories without that background, though.
