Thursday May 29 ride post

[Hardisty George]

A somewhat taxing ride this past Sunday with a steady grind up Family Guy to the road with a ten minute grunt up to Shaft while 30 year-olds on enduro e-bikes cruised by us. A fun buzz down Shaft which was in good shape. L.Scott joined us from his Italian Rivieria vacation with the cool people while showing off the downside of electronic shifting.

This week, we have a request for a ride from the base of Moose Mountain Road, and at the start of Pneuma. We will obviously go up Pneuma, to 727 and head down to Sulphur with a right hand turn up to Stone's Throw with nice little cruise through the trees back to the parking lot.  Likely around a 2 to 2:15 ride with lots of light for a beer and snacks afterwards.

As always, let us know if you are attending. Meet at 6:15 with kickoff at 6:30.

What's the parking situation at the start? Could be crazy busy with Station Flats closed.

New to the group (Thanks George) and won't be able to make Thursday. 

We were at Moose base today riding almost this loop.  

 Started at 5:15. Finished at 6:40. Maybe 10 cars at base.. lots heading up to shuttle but looked like most were shuttling from Ings.
