Well, we have a couple of point to point rides that we like to get in each year including Powderface Ridge and Cox Hill. This week, let's dive into Powderface Ridge now that the old horse trail off Powderface has been replaced by a new ascending trail to the first summit on Powderface. 

We will meet at the Powderface parking lot at 9:15 for a 9:30 start. We will need to drop vehicles at the end of the paved surface on the highway which will take 30 to 40  minutes round trip. Once we know numbers we can organize shuttle vehicles....likely two vehicles at the end point. 

This ride heads up Powderface to the first summit, then up further to Powderface Ridge before dropping down into a really cool forested trail which then climbs back up to the long descent on scree and single track to the highway. Around 2 hrs 30 m for the whole ride, lots of non-technical climbing (and 15 minutes of goofy technical climbing on the top) but the downhill is worth it all.
