We are living in a strange world today, a world you never knew. It is called a pandemic and Dad and I are in our fourth month of not leaving the house except for necessities. That gives me a lot of time to think, reflect, meditate, contemplate, relive, look at old pictures and read old letters. The world has slowed down, giving us breathing room to see what we have done here on earth, or what we should have done or not done. And then all hell broke lose when a black man was killed by a policeman holding his knee to his throat throughout pleadings of, "I can't breathe, please." And eventually George Floyd asked for his mother. People thought he was calling her for help, the way a child calls for his mama. But I think, as you know, he was seeing her coming from the other side to take him "home."
Very interesting. A year ago today I wrote I had an appointment to make, but I never made that appointment; instead, Katie made contact today. Thank you, Michael. Heaven IS real and your "soul is at rest in all your glory, in the light." It is peace that you have given us. Peace in knowing that you will be there to help us across when our time comes. As the Bible tells us, in Heaven we feel no pain, fear or worry and we will be with our Lord, together, forever.
