Bilingual REFERRALS Program ASSISTANT
Reports To: Referrals Coordinator
FLSA Status: Non Exempt
SUMMARY:
The Bilingual (Spanish/English) Referrals Program Assistant is responsible for the administrative functions of the Referrals department: greeting visitors, booking conference rooms and acting as a resource agent for the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To be conducted in accordance with all RFHC Policies and Procedures
· Greet visitors to the Resource Center in a courteous manner
· Direct visitors to tenant organizations and conference rooms
· Assist with the coordination of referrals:
o Filling out various forms
o Faxing forms to specialists and outside organizations
o Following up with various paperwork/outside organizations regarding referrals
· Assist the Facility Coordinator in:
o Scheduling various conference rooms
o Setting up, cleaning and putting conference rooms in order
o Performing administrative functions as needed
· Foster an environment that promotes trust and cooperation among patients and staff, maintaining confidentiality concerning patient and employee information.
· Attends staff meetings and RFHC organizational events, as requested.
· Other duties as assigned and requested
Minimum Qualifications:
· High school
graduate or GED
· Bilingual English/Spanish required
· Experience working in a community health clinic preferred
· Basic knowledge of computers in a Windows environment.
· Outstanding customer service abilities
· Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
